How to resize the C: drive in Windows after upgrading VPS instance storage space
Although storage upgrades should be automatically reflected inside Windows after a successful VPS reboot, sometimes the C: drive is not automatically resized.
Although storage upgrades should be automatically reflected inside Windows after a successful VPS reboot, sometimes the C: drive is not automatically resized.
To resize the C: partition, log in via remote desktop and follow the steps below:
- Open the Disk Management utility at Start > Run > diskmgmt.msc
- Right click on the C: partition, and choose "Extend"
- Click "Next" through the dialog to extend the C: partition.
